I have been passionate about Interiors and textiles since childhood. I was always busy making soft furnishings and items of clothing and as I grew older, this passion was channelled into set and costume design for school theatre productions.
This creativity was then put on hold as I decided to follow a different career path. Having completed a Business degree at University, I spent ten years in the corporate world carving a successful career in Strategy, Media Sales and Management working for News UK (formerly News International). I loved my time working across newspapers, magazines and digital products for The Times and The Sun. However, the dream to work as an Interior Designer only grew stronger, and eventually I embarked on a career change to follow my passion.
I studied for a diploma in Interior Design at the prestigious KLC School of Design in Chelsea, London. Upon graduating, I embarked on my first foray into the design world, working under the direction of Creative Director Corbie Phillips as we set out to establish a successful interior design practice for a London property group. This provided excellent exposure, working closely with international clients and designing high-end interiors across the globe.
Armed with my aptitude for Interior Design, a business degree and a decade of experience in the corporate world, it seemed like the right time to complete my dream and establish my own company. Gomm Studio was born. With the aim to create elegant interiors that enhance clients' everyday lifestyle, based on the concept of Informal Luxury, the studio continues to flourish today.
